River of Life Candle Company – Return & Refund Policy

At River of Life Candle Company, we want you to enjoy every candle, melt, and fragrance you purchase from us. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order, we are here to help.


Returns

  • We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unlit, and in their original packaging to be eligible for a return.

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.

  • Due to the nature of our handmade products, used candles, melts, room sprays, soaps, and custom-made items cannot be returned.

  • Seasonal or limited-edition products may be final sale and will be noted on the product page.


Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.


Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–7 business days.

  • Shipping charges from your original order are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.


Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Email us at shannon@riveroflifecandles.com within 7 days of delivery.

  2. Include your order number, a description of the damage, and photos of the item and packaging.

  3. We will replace the item at no cost or issue a full refund.


Exchanges

  • We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

  • If you need to exchange an eligible item for a different scent or product, please contact us for assistance.
